RA Koerner & Company was founded in 1996 in Westfield, NY. President and founder, Rich Koerner pursued a vision of helping people and organizations to become the best that they can be. Rich had enjoyed his earlier work within organizations as a manager, mentor and trainer. With a strong foundation in organization development, human resources management and leadership/ people development, Rich sought an opportunity to serve a wider spectrum of people and organizations.

Richard Koerner possesses a Masters in Labor & Industrial Relations from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to founding RA Koerner & Company in 1996, Mr. Koerner served in progressively responsible human resources and management positions in companies including Texas Instruments, International Playtex and Cliffstar Corporation (now Cott Beverages), the nation’s leading producer of private label juices and drinks.
A seasoned facilitator and organization development specialist, he has led thousands of discussions, seminars and training sessions to all sizes of participant groups.
He also received formal management training from the American Management Association, Development Dimensions International, and Cummins Engine’s “World Class Manufacturing” workshop. He serves and has served on many boards of charitable organizations; provides training services regionally and nationally and has volunteered his time speaking to students at all levels to prepare them for the changing world of work.
